About Ellen Joy Kramer, RN, BA, CCM, CLNC, CNLCP:
Ellen Joy Kramer, RN, BA, CCM, CLNC, CNLCP, is the Founder and President of Ellen Kramer Consulting, established in 1997. She actively manages and oversees all operations and services performed by the company, including all phases of producing the work product and maintaining client relationships.
Ms. Kramer has over 24 years of experience in the fields of nursing, counseling, and case management. She is a Registered Nurse certified in Nurse Life Care Planning, in Case Management, and in Legal Nurse Consulting. She has worked throughout her career as an expert witness on medically related cases, as a telephonic and field case manager, and as charge nurse in a variety of nursing settings including orthopedics, medical-surgical, neurology, chemical dependency, psychiatry, dual diagnosis, and adolescent medicine. She is highly experienced in working with diverse medical populations in the arenas of workers’ compensation, personal injury, litigation (defense and plaintiff), and rehabilitation. She is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience providing services in cases involving monolingual patients.
Ms. Kramer is a National Honor Society graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo where she majored in psychology. She graduated with the highest academic distinction as a summa cum laude graduate and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She completed her nursing degree with honors at Merritt College. She received extensive graduate training in clinical psychology at JFK University and training as a Life Care Planner at the University of Florida/Intelicus program. She continues to attend annual conferences and takes advanced training programs to continue her education as a Life Care Planner, Case Manager, and Legal Nurse Consultant.
